Bees & Our Story

A Story in Every Spoonful

The Marvel of God’s Creation Inside the Hive

As a small local bee keeper with about 20 hives in the east Clovis area, it still takes a lot of work to keep up with all our hives. To put things in perspective, one hive this time of year has approximately 40 to 60 thousand bees! Multiply that times 20 and… well that’s a lot of bees to keep!

But thankfully the bees do most of the work. And ultimately, God is the one who cares for their needs. We as bee keepers get the privilege of getting to open up the hives and marvel at God’s creation, which points back to His glory and splendor!

“For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities - his eternal power and divine nature- have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made so that people are without excuse.” (Romans 1:20)

Here are some highlights of recent opportunities we’ve had to check our bee hives.
