Bees & Our Story

A Story in Every Spoonful

It’s Honey Time!

In a blink of the eye, just like that almond bloom is wrapped up and our bees are now filling the hives with honey - both orange blossom and wildflower honey.

This past weekend we moved 7 of our hives out of almond bloom in Selma back up to our main yard in Clovis where there are lots of wildflowers. The rest of our hives we are keeping at the almond orchard that they pollinated in Clovis area since there is a citrus grove right there for them to make orange blossom honey with.

Stay tuned in upcoming posts about our other hives that in orange blossom right now, and about doing hive splits in the spring.

Blessings,

Jeff
