Bees & Our Story

A Story in Every Spoonful

Behind the Scenes of Pop-Up Dinners

This past Sunday we had the Wildflowers at Dusk Pop-Up Dinner in Old Town Clovis, where 16 people from all different backgrounds gathered around one common table to hear each other's stories. After the dinner, the guests got to taste our Fall wildflower honey that was harvested just the day before. It doesn't get any more farm to table than that!

Here's a few pictures to give you a glimpse of what it's like behind the scenes:

Photo: We set up the table in the "Breezeway" of Old Town Clovis. During set-up, we had to make sure there was room on both sides for people walking by. The table is made of four 4x4 foot sections that are set on saw horses. Once the sections are clamped together, the table becomes one long 16-foot table.

Photo: The table seats up to 20 people, and it provides a beautiful setting for guests to enjoy delicious food while connecting and hearing each other's stories. The final touches are being made here as guests begin to arrive.
